Uccle's city administration has entrusted Digi-work.com with the development of its new website.
It has no less than 2,000 pages per language, with the goal of providing the maximum amount of information to the municipality's residents.
When dealing with such a big volume of data, choosing a high-performance CMS was critical, therefore Drupal was chosen.
However, because the CMS did not fulfill all of the client's requirements, it was modified and a number of new modules were created.
Check the project liveThe design is intended to be classic and user-friendly, and it can be adapted to any type of audience.
The most typical questions, such as the opening hours of the various counters or the standard procedures, are answered by large, immediately visible symbols.
The site is built using Drupal, which was required due to the massive volume of data. However, the customer required a number of features not included in the CMS, so we created them ourselves.
To do this, we tweaked a few Drupal hooks (hooks are a means for modules to connect with contributed modules or Drupal core subsystems) and generated new views and blocks.
The database is more than 3 GB in size.
With robust content management tools, sophisticated APIs for multichannel publishing, and a track record of continuous innovation—Drupal is the best digital experience platform (DXP) on the web, proudly open source.
